Fun with grocery shopping

The kids are always excited to go grocery shopping and today they were even happier when they found that there was kids' size grocery cart! It surprised us too at Cold Storage King Albert Park. They were happily putting stuff into the cart, ready to make their own dinner!

A sweet treat thereafter. Interestingly our girl like pulut hitam flavour. Our camera ran out of battery so no catch of Abel enjoying his treat.

Grocery shopping with kids

Well, not an easy task now with both being agile and knowing their wants. Just look at them!

Our living room

We found some really cute wall sticker during our Ikea trip. Look at the kids enthusiastically putting them up.

The end product!

Shopping to get organised..

Our place and Ta Ta's place are getting really cluttered with the kids' toys. Time to get organised! Having been inspired by Aunt Pauline's workbox system, we got out today to ikea to get some storage boxes and bits and pieces to make our play cum learning environment at both houses more welcoming. Nowhere else but to Ikea we trotted where there were loads of ideas to draw from. Not to mention the kids can get their fill of food and play.

We ordered our usual fare of chicken wings, meat balls and spaghetti to fill the hungry tummies.

Then we headed straight for the children's section. The kids were busy jumping around on the bed and messing about the mockup playarea. However, being weekend, there were many kids and some were rather rowdy.

Returning home with a cart full of goodies. Look at the happy faces! Who were they waving to? None else but daddy dearest to bring their loot home.

Despite being a one-stop furniture store, we still couldn't find a suitable shelf (trying to strike a balance of economy of cost) and children chairs (out of stock till end April).

Day out with Mommy

We haven't quite had time alone for a long time. Today, Keziah was off from school and Mommy also had her day off from work. We had some last minute shopping to deal with before her party the next day. Mommy has already gotten her a dress and hair ties and now it was just left with her princess heels which she had wanted so very much. We were racing against time as we had to drop Abel off to school, collect Daddy's parcel from the post office, then shop around Robinson's first before landing at United Square for our shoe hunt if we can't get any and have our lunch all before picking Abel up from school lastest by 1pm.

It was definitely a busy morning. We finally found a pair of lovely shoes albeit a size bigger for our darling princess. Just look at her smile of satisfaction!

Our simple lunch of wan ton char siew noodles of which our little gal insisted on eating with chopsticks. Hmm...wonder if it tasted better as such?
