Holidays are here! Fidgets was great to keep the active kids occupied.

A little trip to the airport to watch the planes. We haven't done this for a long time.

Never missing the zoo whether it's holiday or day off school.

Development milestone: The kids overcame their fear of the splash zone and learnt to enjoy the blast from the raining bucket of water.

Ice Skating…a first for Abel

As usual for this Christmas Season, ice skating was here at Novena Square. Keziah was so excited to go for it after last year's experience but Abel was a little reluctant. After much persuasion from his sister, he agreed to join her.

Abel started a little apprehensive. Simply just holding on to the staff helping out the kids.

While Keziah was having a whale of a time on ice though she wasn't very good at single blade. She's still more comfortable with the double.

Eventually Abel caught the thrill of the experience and was all smiles.

 They definitely wanted more just that we had no more passes for more. Next year again!

Biking out @ ECP

Our first attempt at taking the kids out on pillion. Well, it's definitely a new and refreshing experience. The kids simply enjoyed the ride though Keziah was a little afraid as Mommy isn't a steady driver after all.

Nothing more refreshing than a cold coconut drink after being under the hot sun for awhile.

Keziah was going to have an end-of-term party on Friday. It's going to be a jungle theme and our dear girl wants to be a giraffe. So after her nap, Daddy and her worked on this little creation.

Mommy was busy cooking up in the kitchen. It's Mexican for the night. Instant mix but nonetheless healthy wraps.

Slumber Party

Daddy chanced upon Mc's Pyjamas Party and we trodded down with the little ones for some fun. It's our first time and we really didn't know what to expect. We met Daddy's friend and their daughter, Eunice and the kids had so much fun that we felt our kids were a little wild.

After Happy Meal time, it was time for some quizzes. The kids were so excited and Daddy got involved with being the answer provided. Proven for once, Daddy was a McDonald kid, knowing the characters, where the drive-thru were, opening of this new branch so well in his hands.

Next was some craft time….

Then a story time which all kids were waiting for. We had the story about "The Angry Old Woman". Definitely all captivated by the story, even our dear little Abel, the youngest, was all ears.

What was Mommy doing? Taking pictures and chilling out with a sip of Mocha!

There was a lucky draw at the end. We didn't get the lucky pick but still we went home all happy with a goodie bag.

Leisure time...

Yet again, our little Abel came up with new pieces of his creation. He even made a 'gun' from lego. Well guess it's a real boy, constantly piecing things together out of imagination.

Time off to the park. The kids had a walk at Kent Ridge Park with Daddy while Mommy went off to school for parent-tutor meeting. Just look at what they found! Mommy doesn't know what they are. Anyone can tell me what these interesting leave are? Pines?

Airport Terminal 3

Our plan to go for a swim after the kids' nap didn't pull through as it rained AGAIN! We headed off instead to Terminal 3 for a leisure walk and airplane viewing. It's a nice place to just let the kids have some running space. Unfortunately, T3's viewing gallery was closed for renovation so in turn, we went over to T2 on the sky train. Wow, the gallery has now been done up as the Changi Aviation Gallery, giving some history to our airport's development and ideas on how to fold a paper plane. The kids were quite fascinated over the fireman model.

There's a few small playground littering the place and if your kids are old enough, there's even a go-kart ring at the carpark area.
We ran into a corner where the kids could do crayon shading craft and look at what Keziah's got!

Last but not least, parking is only $2.50 for first 3 hours! How affordable!

Kite flying...

Finally Keziah had her first hand at kite flying. It was definitely not easy to keep the kite in the air and after a few attempts, even Daddy didn't managed to keep it up. Nonetheless, we just wanted it to be simply fun for the kids, so Keziah got her hands at just pulling the kite around. Needless to say, the kite didn't survive the crash landing. Interestingly, Abel was only interested in watching kites gliding in the sky and after awhile, he was just off running around the open space, walking along the raised platform.
