Stayover @ Cousin

We meet once in a while but the kids just loved to play together. Since Keona's and Tiarni's parents needed to be away for the weekend, we stayed over at their place to watch over the girls. The kids had a whale of a time watching TV, playing toys and taking a dip together. We even caught the fireworks from Chingay celebrations right from their apartment!

They had so much fun that they wanted to do a stay over again….

Smurfing again

How could we miss the movie after the craft session?
Together with Ting Gu Gu and cousin Rylee as well as Yu'an Gu Gu. Not missing a good meal! We should have more of this!

Many thanks to Ting Gu Gu for the special Smurfs…..

City Tour with Cousin

We were invited to a city tour with our cousins. How nice to be a tourist for a day!
What's a trishaw? Now you know it...
Visited Kampong Glam. Aside from the mosque, what captured our eyes were the little shops that sold toys from the olden days. Time to reminiscence…There's even a Children Toy Museum tucked in a corner.

Next hit, a temple at Chinatown.
The highlight of the trip - the river cruise. The kids loved this most...
Some dessert before the ride. Look just how this Turkish ice cream seller amused the kids with his little gimmicks.

Vietnamese fare to welcome

Sandy Gu Gu was in town with her hb and the family gathered once again at our eldest cousin place for a nice gathering. The kids had great fun playing while we tucked into a sumptuous Vietnamese fare prepared by Aunt Ti Ti. Lovely change of taste!

Cousins@play

It's a pity these days that cousins don't meet often like in the good old days of the past where the extended family is closely knitted. Nonetheless, we try to make the most of our gatherings. Today, our eldest cousin invited us over for a swim and lunch.

Our little boy seemed to be more comfortable in water today after Mommy 'dragged' him in for a dip. Looks like he also wants to swim like the older sisters. Surprisingly, when Mommy asked him to go down to swim position, he really did and started kicking as well.

Nothing's more fun than piggy back Daddy in the water. He even attempted to stand on Daddy's back.
