East Coast Park..Here we come..

It's been awhile since Mommy suggested going to ECP for a walk and some fun for the kids. Abel hasn't been much outdoors compared to his sister. Rain has been keeping us indoors these recent weeks. Finally today we made it down to the place eventhough for only a short hour or so as the rain cloud came.

It's good to take a breather out in the open...To reduce logistic we tried to put Abel in the Zapp rather than with the attachment in the carseat. Though the instructions wrote for 6 months to 4 years, once the child can sit unsupported, it doesn't seem so for him. Looks like it's going to be a few more months as it looked rather oversized with him in there.

Growing Up...

ABEL
Hands on with everything...

Ooooo...look at what's this in my hands...

On my two feet....Yippie...Steady Steady Go..

Happy driving...

How do I use the brakes?

Let me try it out....Finally mommy's taking a pic of me eating...

Hmm....what's this? Let me have a chew first..

KEZIAH
Hmm....what was Keziah trying to tell the little kids in church? Oh yes, now she's learning to play with other children alot more. Developmental readiness or is it coz she's going to childcare now?

Cutie faces of the little ones in church...

Bossy one...what are you doing there?

Gleeful one...Heehee...

TWOSOME
Huggy huggy...I love my didi...

The more we getting together...the merrier we'll be!

That goes for the wrestle time as well...

Fireworks date..

It's been a good long time since Daddy and Mommy had some couple time. It's 'dating' again and Mommy was so excited about the night. Abel stayed over at Ah Ma's place while Keziah was taken care by Nei Nei. Though it was simply going for the fireworks display at the floating gallery at Marina Bay, the company made the difference. Throughout the day, Mommy was so chirpy at work, trying to do up things early so that she could leave.

Weather turned bad and started pouring mid-day. Daddy had to clear some stuff and was late. Nonetheless, thankfully the rain ceased and Daddy made it on time. We had a fantastic view of fireworks after much delay from the pre-activities. Daddy took quite a few nice pictures.

Sure look forward to more of such times..heehee...Let's see when Daddy will plan a surprise date for Mommy...

Finally out for fun again

It's been a long while since the last post. Yes, the kids haven't been well but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Keziah is finally settling into the childcare arrangements and the kids are more or less recovered aside from some occasional cough and sniffles. Mommy now deligently gives Keziah her basic supplements of vitamin C, codliver oil and multivits (only when she wants it) as well as Flumicil and Benedryl to keep the phelgm and cough at bay.

Counting back, we haven't been out for fun for quite awhile as a result. Today, it was great that Auntie Nat was game for us to join them in a swim after Mommy made some suggestions of bringing the kids out together after their visit last week to our new place at Toa Payoh. Going out together with some kids seemed alot more fun and we are certainly grateful for the wonderful help with the kids and for volunteering to pick us up. Seriously if it's just Daddy and Mommy taking them for a swim, it might have been alot more stressful since Abel is still so young. We all went to Bukit Batok Civil Service Club and really the pool there was so kid friendly and excellent facilities.

Oh yes, this is also Abel's maiden dip in the pool. The water might have been a bit too cold for his liking and he was actually fussing once he went in. His lips were shivering. However, after a short time, he was fine and broke up in smiles as Mommy took him for a little swim and walk in the waters.

Keziah was definitely very comfortable in the waters and having great fun along with Cheryl jie jie and Uncle Chris. Just look at the kids (and their Daddies) in action.

Many thanks to Auntie Nat for taking so many pictures of our family. Silly Mommy has forgotten to put the memory card back into the camera when she packed it into the bag! Mommy felt so bad that she didn't capture any family pics for the Lians.

How quickly the two gals click! After the swim and wash up, they were running around and imitating each other in play. Sweet hugs for each other...Oh yes, and they were holding hands like two good sisters...

After that, we met up with Auntie Shirley, Uncle Edwin and Little Heidi for dinner. Guess where this cozy place is?

Yummy food and a good time for the Daddies and Mommies to catch up while the kids run wild..

Pictures are all compliments from Auntie Nat!

How alike are the two even in their sleep!

Dinner gathering with relatives

Relatives came down from HK to visit and this was the first time there was such a big gathering. Dinner was at East Coast Park and we had 4 full tables of people.
