"Merlion"....

Well, tonight is the 2nd time Mommy witnessed Keziah throwing out her food. The last time she was down with a high fever. This time, she was actually asleep already but she was coughing so badly that she sporadically threw up her food. It seemed that her whole dinner was out! Think she had a shock herself. It was certainly a mess that Mommy had to clear up. For the night, Keziah will have to just share the bed with Daddy and Mommy since her pillow and mattress were all messed up. Prayfully her cough will get better. It seemed the cough only hit her in the nights. She's usually fine in the day, in fact, still as usual bubbly and running all over the place aside from the running nose and occasional cough. Looks like Daddy and Mommy gotta find some means to strengthen her!

hi
i wrap cheryl's mattress with pvc. so even when she throws up and messes up her bed, its still easy to clean; just wipe with cloth and a little detegent to get rid of the smell.
i still have a pvc cover; cover with zipper. but i am not sure of the size.
if you are keen, let me know.

oh, and we have learnt to also give her a puck-mug.
its a container with plastic bag.
this puck-mug has come in handy several times, esp when she is sleeping on our bed.

Hi Mummy,
Thanks for the advise. Good ideas. U mean Cheryl will know how to hold her container and throw up in it? Just wondering if pvc would make the bed very warm for bb? We actually have the pigeon pink/blue mat but we haven't been using it. Heehee...

no problem.

we still use the bed sheets over the pvc. so far, okay. not exceptionally hot. the good thing about the sheets is, it absorbs urine, puck or milk spills. the pvc just prevents the mattress from being dirty and messy.

now, yes. cheryl will hold the container to vomit in it. but there are accidents cuz she is not quick enough.

Hi Joan,
I hope Keziah is feeling much better now. I also use a PVC mattress cover to prevent the mattress from getting dirty and on top of that, I place a blue/pink mat on the bedsheet. My mum brought that to the States when she came. Sounds very kiasu, isn't it?
